Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum needed to run your rotations — and we never sell your data.

Who we are

Plays Manager ("we", "us") provides rotation planning software for youth sports teams. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: support@playsmanager.com.

Information we collect

Account information: your name, email address, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), and optional organization or team name.

Team content you enter: team names, seasons, athlete jersey numbers, names, positions, injury flags, units, and the rotation plans you build.

Billing information: if you subscribe, our payment processor collects and stores your payment details. We receive only the subscription status and the last four digits/brand of the card.

Technical information: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and error diagnostics needed to operate and secure the service.

Athlete information and children's privacy

Plays Manager is for coaches and team managers — accounts are for adults 18 and older. Rosters typically contain minors' first initial/last name, jersey number, position and injury availability. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children, we do not build profiles of athletes, and we never sell roster data. Only you (and staff you share your account with) can see your rosters. Enter the minimum information you need, and follow your league's rules on sharing athlete data.

How we use information

To provide and secure the service, save and sync your plans, process subscriptions, send service and account emails, respond to support requests, and improve the product. We do not use roster data for advertising.

How we share information

Only with service providers who help us run Plays Manager — hosting and database, email delivery, payment processing, and error/analytics tooling — under contracts limiting their use of the data. We may also disclose information when required by law, or as part of a merger or acquisition (you would be notified). We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and team data while your account is open. Cancel and your data stays available for export; email us to delete your account and we will remove your account and team content within 30 days, except where we must retain records for legal or accounting purposes.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access to team content is restricted to the owning account by database-level access rules, and administrative access is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

Your choices and rights

You can view and edit your profile, export your plans and rosters, cancel your subscription, and request deletion at any time. Depending on where you live you may also have rights to access, correct, delete or port your information, and to appeal a refusal. Email us to exercise any of these rights — we do not discriminate against you for doing so. California residents: see our California Privacy Notice.

Cookies

We use necessary cookies to keep you signed in and optional analytics cookies you can turn off. See our Cookie Policy or reopen the cookie preferences panel from the footer.

Changes

If we make material changes we will update the date on this page and notify account holders by email.
