- Which sports can I use today?
- Football has the complete rotation planner: units, series, in-series substitutions, play counts per half, spotter sheets and depth charts. Baseball/softball, soccer and basketball include roster management, positions, injury flags and CSV import today — their innings/halves/minutes planners are next on the roadmap.
- How does Plays Manager handle my league's playing-time minimum?
- The football planner counts plays per half for every athlete and flags anyone below the minimum (four plays per half by default) before you print. Injured athletes are excluded from the requirement automatically.
- Can I plan substitutions inside a series instead of swapping a whole unit?
- Yes. Add a sub at the start of a series or after any play, sub for a sub, and bring a pulled starter back later in the same series. Play counts recalculate instantly and exports list each swap on its own line with jersey numbers.
- How do I import my roster?
- Download the CSV template from your team's roster page and fill in
number,name,position,unit,injured. Upload it and Plays Manager creates every athlete — no retyping. See Support for the full format. - Can my assistant coaches see the plans?
- Plans live in your account, so anyone signed in with your account sees the same plans, rosters and team default. Shared staff accounts with individual logins are on the roadmap — tell us if you need it.
- Do I need a credit card for the trial?
- No. The 14-day trial starts as soon as you create an account and requires no payment details.
- What happens if I do not subscribe when the trial ends?
- Your account becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted — you can still open, print and export every plan and roster, and editing unlocks the moment you subscribe.
- How do I cancel?
- From your account page, in two clicks. Access continues to the end of the paid month and you are not charged again. See our Terms.
- Is athlete information safe?
- Rosters are visible only to your account, protected by database-level access rules, and never sold or used for advertising. Enter only what you need — most coaches use first initial, last name, jersey number and position. Read our Privacy Policy.
- Does it work on my phone at the field?
- Yes — Plays Manager is a responsive web app, so it works in any modern mobile or desktop browser with no install. A standalone app may follow later.
- Can I print everything for a spotter or parent volunteer?
- Yes. The spotter sheet is a single landscape page with checkboxes for each athlete's plays in each half, colour-coded by offense unit, sorted alphabetically by last name inside each position group.
